Idea to creation of my project
The break pad was pretty easy because I already knew exactly what I was making. You just had to follow some certain steps in order to complete the project correctly. For this project you just had to make the same brake pad as everyone else. Once I completed my editing on inventor I went on to fusion 360. Here I set up everything the way I needed to in order to move on to the mill. I put all of the info I needed onto my flash drive and headed over to the mill. I plugged in my flash drive and set up everything the way it needed to be. I let the mill go to work and after 17 minutes my brake pad was complete. After this I put my brake pad into the laser engraver and used the same thing I made for my maze. After my name was laser engraved into my brake pad I pulled it out and it was finished. It had turned out exactly how I had wanted it and I was satisfied with the completion of my project.

Summary of what I learned
The set up for the mill was a little confusing so I had a lot to learn. I set up everything I needed on inventor and fusion and headed onto the mill. Here I had some help with the computer set up and I was able to get my brake pad started. Going into this project I already knew how to use inventor and fusion. I was pretty good at it now as well because I just did my maze. I sped thought that part and linked my info into the computer linked to the mill. Now that my foam was being formed into a break pad I just had to wait and see the product. It came out after 17 minutes and was exactly what I had wanted. After this project I have some pretty good knowledge about a lot of the machines in the shop.
